Nothing says Old Home Week like the annual parade which takes place the first Sunday of the week. Starting on Deakin Drive down Main Street through the downtown and ending at NBCC.


This year’s parade promises to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing local talent, vibrant floats, and community spirit. Don’t miss the marching band, colorful dance troupes, and appearances by local dignitaries.


Whether you’re a long-time resident or visiting for the first time, come celebrate with us as we honor our community’s rich history and embrace our future. Be sure to bring your family, friends, and a comfortable chair to enjoy the spectacle. We can’t wait to see you there!

This year’s parade route will be on Main Street from Deakin Drive to NBCC, 100 Broadway Street with the Quiet Zone from the LP Fisher Lane to Elm Street No loud sirens or horns will be permitted in this area. Music may be played a lower volume if possible.


Parade Rules
1. This is a rain or shine event. If the weather causes safety hazards, the parade will be cancelled and it will not be rescheduled.
2. All entries must be pre-registered.
3. All entries, even single entries such as cars, should be decorated.
4. All individuals/groups must have liability insurance for your own protection and for the protection of Woodstock Old Home Week Agriculture Exhibition Inc.
5. You must check in prior to lining up. You will be given directions from there.
6. If your entry requires protective gear (atvs, motorcycles, etc), it must be worn during the parade.
7. NO THROWING OF ITEMS from any float or vehicle. If you wish to pass out candy, water, brochures, etc, that must be done by walkers beside your float.
8. Drivers of floats are prohibited from using their cell phones during the parade.
9. All float entries must be safe for passengers and spectators. Please ensure all items are well secure, and children have adult supervision.
10. Please keep the parade moving forward. Any demonstrations should be short to avoid gaps.
11. No littering. If you notice something fall from your float, please try to get it picked up.
12. No spraying of water onto parade spectators.
13. Our parade volunteers are official onsite authorities. Any instruction given by them must be followed. We appreciate your courtesy and cooperation during this busy event.
14. Please be mindful of First Responders and emergency vehicles during the parade. There is a chance that they may get a call and have to leave. In such a case, move to the right and allow them to pass.
15. If you are driving an off road vehicle in the parade, it was be put on a trailer at the end of the parade at NBCC.
